About Survival Math
Survival Math is an endless run with no finish line. Solve the problem before the timer expires. A wrong answer or a timeout costs one of your three lives, every round is faster than the last, and the problems climb from arithmetic through to slope and the Pythagorean theorem, where the difficulty caps.
Consecutive correct answers build a combo multiplier and a miss resets it. Clearing enough rounds in a row earns a life back, up to a cap, so a clean streak is both offence and defence. Your score is simply how far you got.
The difficulty ramp is the point: early rounds are trivial and exist to establish rhythm, and the interesting part starts once the clock is short enough that you cannot fully think. The game is testing recall speed, not mathematical ability.

How to win at Survival Math
- Automate the arithmetic now
- The late rounds do not give you time to compute twelve times seven. Anything you have to work out consciously will time out, so the early rounds are worth treating as drill rather than as free points.
- Protect the combo over the round
- The multiplier is worth more than any single answer. When you are unsure and the clock is nearly gone, a fast plausible answer that keeps the streak alive beats a careful answer that arrives too late.
- Learn the two formulas cold
- Difficulty caps at slope and Pythagoras, so those two appear constantly in the deep rounds. Knowing rise over run and a squared plus b squared without pausing to recall them is the single highest-value preparation for a long run.
- Bank a life while it is cheap
- Lives come back for streaks, and streaks are far easier to build in the early rounds. Play the opening cleanly rather than casually — that is where your buffer for the hard rounds comes from.
