Memory
Flip cards two at a time and clear every matching pair before the clock does.
About Memory
Memory is the classic concentration game. A grid of cards sits face down; you turn two over per move. A match clears, a miss flips both back, and you repeat until the grid is empty or the timer expires. Fewer moves and a faster clear both raise your score, so the game rewards remembering rather than guessing.
The layout is dealt from the shared daily seed, so every player on a given day works the same grid in the same starting positions. Difficulty changes the grid size rather than the rules, which means the skill being tested — how many card positions you can hold at once — scales cleanly.
No signup, no install, and the tap targets are sized for one-handed phone play.
The grids are three-by-four on Easy, four-by-four on Medium and six-by-four on Hard, and the clock shrinks as the grid grows: two minutes, then ninety seconds, then one minute. Scoring pays a hundred points per pair found, takes five off for every move beyond the minimum, and adds three for each second left when the last pair clears. A mismatched pair stays face up for just under a second before it turns back, which is your window to fix both positions in memory.

Memory rules
- 1.Tap any card to flip it face-up.
- 2.Tap a second card — if they match, the pair clears.
- 3.If they don't match, both cards flip back down.
- 4.Find all pairs before the timer runs out.
- 5.Fewer moves and faster clears mean a higher score.
How to win at Memory
- Sweep in a fixed order
- Reveal unknown cards along a predictable path — left to right, top row down. A systematic sweep means every card you have seen has a position you can actually recall, instead of a vague sense that you saw it somewhere.
- Spend a known card to learn a new one
- When you remember one half of a pair and have no second half, open an unknown card first, then the card you already know. You either match or you learn a new position, and you never waste both flips on cards you had already seen.
- Clear known pairs immediately
- Every extra flip is a chance to overwrite what you were holding in memory. If you know a pair, take it now rather than banking it while you explore.
- Anchor on the corners
- Corner and edge positions are far easier to recall than middle ones. If you can pick which unknown to open, open a middle card while your memory is fresh and leave the corners for late in the grid.
Memory questions
- How is my Memory score calculated?
- Score rises with a faster clear and falls with each extra move, so a clean solve in few flips beats a fast solve with many misses.
- Does the grid change between difficulties?
- Yes. Higher difficulties use a larger grid with more pairs. The rules are identical.
- Is the daily grid the same for everyone?
- Yes. The card layout comes from a single daily seed shared by all players.
- What happens when the timer runs out in Memory?
- The round ends and you keep the points for every pair you had already matched. The time bonus is only paid for a full clear.
- Can I play Memory without an account?
- Yes. The grid loads and plays immediately. An account is only needed to attach scores to a profile for the leaderboard.
