About Poker
Poker here is no-limit Texas Hold'em for play money: six seats, one of them yours, the other five taken by bots that are clearly labelled as bots and each play a fixed, readable style. A session is ten hands. Everyone starts with a thousand chips, the blinds are ten and twenty, the button moves every hand, and whoever holds the deepest stack when the tenth hand is done wins the session.
The rules are the real ones. You get two hole cards, the board comes in three streets, a raise has to be at least the size of the last raise, going all in for less is allowed, and when stacks are uneven the pot splits into side pots so nobody can win chips they never matched. A thirty-second clock keeps the table moving; if it runs out the table checks for you or folds if there is a bet to face.
Every hand is written to a history you can open at the table, and the review afterwards walks each of your decisions with the pot odds you were getting, an equity estimate for your cards, and the action the numbers preferred. Chips are never real money and nothing can be bought or cashed out.

Poker rules
- 1.Everyone starts with 1,000 play-money chips; blinds are 10 and 20. A session is ten hands, and the deepest stack at the end wins.
- 2.Each hand you get two hole cards. Bet across the flop, turn and river; the best five-card hand from your two plus the five on the board wins the pot.
- 3.Fold, check, call, or raise — a raise must be at least the size of the last raise. Going all in for less is allowed.
- 4.If players are all in for different amounts the pot splits into side pots: you can only win what you matched.
- 5.You have 30 seconds to act; if the clock runs out the table checks for you, or folds if there is a bet.
- 6.The five opponents are bots with fixed styles — the seat card says how each one plays.
How to win at Poker
- Count the pot before you call
- The price of a call is the call divided by the pot after you put it in. A call of forty into a pot of one hundred and sixty needs to win one time in five to break even; if your cards do not get there that often, folding is the profitable move even when it feels weak.
- Learn the five seats
- The bots do not adapt, which is the point. The rock only bets with a real hand, the maniac raises light and often, the station calls with anything, the shark prices every bet and the trapper checks strong hands to induce a bet. Play the seat, not just the cards.
- Position is a free advantage
- Acting last on a street means you see everyone else act before you decide. Hands you would fold under the gun become playable on the button, and a bet from late position with nobody showing interest takes a lot of small pots for free.
- Mind the stack sizes, not just the pot
- A short stack cannot be bluffed off a pot it is already committed to, and a raise that leaves you with a few chips behind is really an all in. Before betting, ask what the hand looks like if it is called all the way down.

- No. The chips are play money, there is nothing to buy or cash out, and the opponents are bots rather than other people.
- Are the opponents real players?
- No. All five seats are bots with fixed styles, and each seat card says so and describes how that bot plays.
- How are side pots handled?
- When players are all in for different amounts the pot is split by contribution level, and each level goes to the best hand among the players who matched it.
- What happens when the timer runs out?
- The table checks for you if there is no bet to face, and folds your hand if there is one, so the session keeps moving.
